Tom Hardy on the set of Mad Max Fury Road, 2013.

A lovely comment from Greg van Borssum, stunt man on the film:
finally my sms comedy war with Tom has stopped. such a funny lad… and a true member of FALSA. he did such a bloody amazing job on set yesterday as did the mighty Nathan Jones. but that was always going to be the case.

I’ve receieved a question about Tom’s tattoos in the new photo from the Mad Max set, since there are a few “missing”.
They’ve definitely been covered up by make-up, probably due to Max wearing clothes where you can see the upper part of his chest, where Tom has several visible tattoos. If you look at Greg Williams photo from earlier this year, they’re all there. But in the set photo from Mad Max in 2012 (upper right photo), they’ve been covered up.
So, no worries, no tattoos have been removed! (It’s more likely he’s added a few… *g*)

A model assignment for a very young Tom Hardy - in an unknown magazine from around 1998 or 1999. He doesn’t look particularly amused. *g*
The ebay seller won’t say from which magazine it is, but it’s available to buy here for the amount of 124 pounds (which I’m guessing no one is prepared to pay…). Sadly.

Tom arrives at Bondi Beach in Oz…
Max-ed out: Tom Hardy looks the part as he films final scenes for Mad Max: Fury Road
He is filming a movie called Fury Road, so when Tom Hardy turns up with a face like thunder, you could possibly excuse him.
Hardy lived up to his name as he arrived at a restaurant in Bondi Beach during a break from filming the final scenes for the fourth installment in the Mad Max series.
The 36-year-old British actor brought the big guns, showing off his tattooed, muscly arms, proving that he is indeed fit for the part of Max Rockatansky, previously played by Mel Gibson.
The Bronson actor has joined the rest of the cast in Australia for three weeks of re-shoots for the film which has now had to be pushed back to 2015.
Tom had a frown on his face as he visited Icebergs in Bondi Beach, Sydney, only barely covered by his sunglasses.
After shooting the principal footage in Namibia last year, the cast have now been flown in to Australia for the final scenes for Mad Max: Fury Road. dailymail
